Ignite the Inner Filmmaker: Camp Reel Stories - Lincoln

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Smartphones have changed the way films are made and distributed, but many of our filmmakers lack the nuances of film as art. This session will showcase the non-profit organization Camp Reel Stories - Lincoln, an interactive week-long camp where girls, ages 13-18, create films in order to better represent women behind the scenes to better reflect them on the screen. CRS-L films from its inaugural year will be presented and its media literacy component.
