Making Writer's Workshop Work for Students: Integrating Technology, Standards, and Authenticity to Empower Young Writers

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Teachers often feel apprehensive about writing instruction, but if they know how to use writer’s workshop effectively, writing instruction can be a source of excitement and reward rather than anxiety, both for teachers and for students. In this session, teachers will learn how to use the workshop process to teach standards and empower students to take ownership and invest in the writing process no matter what subject they teach.
